The Thomastown team were aware that a lot of young people their age could not always rely on having a roof over their head, and they wanted to do something about it. In response, they created ‘Tummy Lovers Cafe’, a social enterprise pop up cafe that sells food and spreads awareness of children in poverty.
In partnership with Kids Undercover, the cafe weaves innovative design concepts to draw attention to this issue through the food they sell. They plan to have a pop up cafe installed at their school so that they can reach young people in their community.
