“Showing the brighter side of African cultures”

This team is out to create positive news stories about young people of colour with their partners at Centre for Multicultural Youth. Together, their African print bandanas will spread culture and show the “brighter side of African cultures”, challenging society to step beyond the negative stories that the media so frequently portray which only serve to fuel discrimination.

“Wearing our social enterprise product symbolises you accept and embrace African cultures. The more people who accept and embrace it, the less discrimination of race there will be”
